Always ensure you have a clean, clear space to practice, with nothing on the ground in the space around you. Be aware of your surroundings and height of the hammock relative to the ceiling and floor to avoid hitting your head. Contraindications of aerial yoga include but are not limited to, vertigo, inner ear conditions, glaucoma, epilepsy, detached retina, pregnancy beyond the first trimester, and others. Check with a doctor before beginning this aerial fitness program.
